Training
Clare delivers training sessions tailored to the needs of the individual or group. She is keen to pass on skills to gun dog enthusiasts as well as helping more established handlers with problems they may have. Clare's clients include those who are training in the field and pet dogs that may need a little help with the skills needed to be a happy, integrated member of the family.
1-to-1 Gundog Training
Classes are tailored to the needs of the individual dog and handler, focused on the skills required for high quality Gundog work. Basics are covered as well as retrieving, directions, stop and hunt.
Group Gundog Training
Group Gundog Training is offered to those who have mastered the basics. Group classes are generally run in groups of six, centred around walk up training, while integrating individual exercises into the session for improving a specific skill.
One-to-One Obedience
One-to-one Obedience can be with any breed of dog. Clare works on the skills that most pet owners require to have a happy, fulfilled and loving dog. This tends to focus on walking on a loose lead, recall, rules and boundaries in the home and socialisation.
